Contracting and Procurement

Serve as Project Services Leader for the Shared Services Division of Petrolera Zuata Petrozuata,
C.A., and Petrolera Ameriven, C.A, joint venture partnerships between ConocoPhillips, Chevron, and
PDVSA.
Provide materials purchasing services, inventory management, and contracting services through
combined Supply Chain Management (SCM) for both Upstream and Downstream Projects.
Oversee purchase orders for projects equivalent to $59Million, placed for both Petrozuata and
Petrolera Ameriven.
Contract for Synergized Engineering Services which total $25 Million.
Develop contracts for 60 MMSCFD associated gas compression and treatment services valued at
$70 Million for Petrozuata.
Contract $25 Million in Construction Services for Petrozuata Upstream and Petrolera Ameriven
Downstream.
Assist in the design of strategies for procurement and contracting.
Coordinate and negotiate with contractors and suppliers as required.
Manage the request for quotations, clarifications, evaluations, and awarding processes.
Receive and process Materials Take-Off's (MTO's).
Performed duties as a Contract Specialist for Crude Oil Transportation, Upstream, and Downstream
Managements within Petrozuata with total contracts values at $25.5 Million.
Coordinated the tendering process for 3D Seismic Acquisition Services estimated at $25 Million.
Supervised PDVSA's Contracting and Contracts Administration teams assigned to the Engineering
and Project Management organizations.
Oversaw and developed contracts for construction of facilities infrastructure for Upstream at
North of Monagas, Venezuela.
Ensure the compliance to contracting culture according to governmental laws and internal
procedures.

Leadership and Business Operations
Oversee, train, and develop a team of seven; and ensure compliance with all company policies and
procedures.

Support Upstream and Downstream infrastructure projects and their execution.

Participated in projects in connection with extra heavy oil production and upgrades.

Focused on understanding the needs and requirements of customer's; and to respond in an immediate
and proactive manner in order to support the achievement of organizational goals.
