* Working as “Foreign Purchasing Specialist” for 5 years at Western Desert Operating Petroleum Company from 15/11/2001 till 31/01/2007
* Currently working in the same job for “El-Hamra Oil Company”.
* The following is a brief summary for my job duties:-
- Receiving the material requests from the different company divisions.
- Issuing the bids whether in the sweetened market or in the foreign market.
Receiving the offers from the bidders and executing the financial & technical evaluations in coordination with the requester divisions.
Issuing Local & Foreign Purchase Orders.
Issuing advance payment requests as well as letters of credit.
Following up the supply of ordered material according to the delivery dates stated on the purchase order.
Receiving shipping documents (air & sea) from the foreign suppliers or from the bank – depending on the contractual terms, and coordinating with Customs department to proceed with customs clearance of shipped material from the Customs Authorities.
Receiving supplier’s invoices & passing them for settlement.
Updating the vendors list by adding & excluding.
Recording all the above mentioned steps on the computer system.
