I am working as DEPUTY ENGINEER PLANNING & CONTRACTS WITH PAKISTAN PETROLEUM LIMITED (PPL) AT SUI GAS FIELD COMPRESSOR STATION, SUI. Sui Field Gas Compression Station plays a pivotal role in supply of gas throughout Pakistan. The plant is equipped with 7 turbo compressors, 3 motor driven compressors. The power being supplied through four gas turbines. We have a record of 0.1 Million hours of 99.7% reliability.
Main Responsibilities
i. Preparation of Five years operation and Maintenance plan of major equipment and revising it yearly according to the requirements
ii. Compilation of Revenue and Capital budget proposals for compressor station after obtaining requirements from different departments and keeping in view major maintenance schedules during the year.
iii. Preparation of Monthly operation and Maintenance schedules
iv. Preparation of weekly and monthly activity report of the compressor station.
v. All modifications in plant equipment and facilities are supervised and related drawings and manuals are updated accordingly.
vi. Monitoring of Revenue and Capital budget by conducting cost meeting and preparation of different monitoring sheets.
vii. Plan and initiate award of work contracts of Revex and Capex jobs so that they are completed within budgetary period.
viii. Cost estimation of various civil projects and preparation of their BOQs.
ix. To write up Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). I have worked on couple of SOPs.
x. I am working on ISO 9000, ISO 14001:2004 and ISO 18001 for getting certification at our plant. I am a member of the committee, working for ISO accomplishment.
I am using SAP; ERP system, MS-Excel and MS-Access to perform most of these tasks. I am working on MM Module.
