(Corporaci?n Venezolana del Petr?leo): Member of a team responsible for negotiating with national and foreign oil companies settled in Venezuela, the migration of Operating Services Agreement (O.S.A.) to Joint Venture (J.V.) This migration process dealt with aspects such as: oil and gas reserves, oil and gas production forecast, infrastructure evaluation, business valorization, new contract terms, etc.
01/98-05/05. Project Definition Engineer. (PDVSA Western Division): Generated oil field development plans, front end engineering and investment proposals for many oil and gas offshore and onshore production projects. Elaboration of Basic Engineering Package of onshore and offshore projects related to oil and gas production, processing, storage, transportation and gathering systems in PDVSA Western Division. I have over 16 years experience in PDVSA Engineering Department; with a Master Degree in Multiphase Flow and Liquid-Gas Separation from University of Tulsa, OK, USA. I am well versed in the areas of Process Piping, Gas Conditioning and Processing, Offshore and Onshore Gas Compression Plant and Flow Stations Design and Operation, Piping Layout, Centrifugal and Reciprocating Compressors, Pumps, Valves and accessories, CAD/CAE tools, in conjunction with International and Local Design Codes and Basic Practices (API, ASME-ANSI, NFPA, etc).
I have considerable experience in all Engineering steps for a project, since Front End Engineering Design (FEED) until Implementation and Operation and a through knowledge of the process and procedures of PDVSA environment and oil and gas industry worldwide. During the last year I have been working as a Business Coordinator dealing with national and foreign oil companies the migration from Operation Service Agreement (OSA) to Join Ventures (JV) and during last six months working as General Manager for 15 kbpd oil field. On the other hand, I work well with people and enjoy getting the work at hand completed.
