GEOLOGIST§ General Exploration and Productions Activities§ Monitoring and Supervising Geological Operational activities on the field (Well site Geologist - Offshore) - QC of mud logging equipments.§ Wellsite Lithological descriptions of ditch cuttings and conventional core samples§ Interpretation of well Logs, MWD/LWD and making an appropriate correlation with the offset wells.§ Picking and calculating the Gross and Net thickness of the Resistive sand (pay zone) of a well.§ OWC/GOC quick determination.§ Providing notification and interpretative functions to drilling supervisors regarding drilling events like Oil shows, Mud cut, Lost circulation, and Kicks e.t.c.§ Liaising with DPR to get all the Relevant Governmental Permits and Approvals to carry out G & G and Drilling activities on our field.§ Prepare End of Well and weekly Geological Reports for the Company field operations.§ Compiling and Packaging data for bid round exercise for the Company§ Drilling Parameters Monitoring and integration of Geological data for safe operations.April 2002- July 2002: Department of Petroleum Resources, Victoria Island Lagos (TRAINEE GEOLOGIST)· Interpretation of well Logs (GR, Neutron, Density, Resistivity).· Calculations of Net pay Oil and Gas of a well.
