(1). Around five years experience (from 2nd May, 2002 to date) in Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Resources (Policy Wing), Pakistan.
A) Deputy Director (Concession/Exploration) from 23rd May, 2005 to date: Presently working as Deputy Director (Exploration) in Directorate General of Petroleum Concessions with the following responsibilities:-
a) Offshore Area:-
i) Petroleum Policy formulation.
ii) Preparation of Blocks & Bid Documents and Invitation to Bids.
iii) Evaluation of work programme/bids.
iv) Negotiations with companies for finalization of terms of License/Production Sharing Agreement(PSA)and execution of Licences/PSA.

iv) Processing of gas distribution company’s requests for its import permits and release of foreign exchange etc.
v) Matters pertaining to policy & supply of natural gas to General Industries and Cement Plants etc.
