Reads log sheets of previous shift in the Control Room indicating temperatures, pressures, humidity, loads to ascertain equipment operating condition.
.Monitors and controls on shift the operation of the Facilities ensuring the safe operation and reliability of gas supply under economic conditions. Balances the operation of equipment to meet supply demand, minimizes risk to equipment and running cost.
. Monitors and controls the operating parameters and takes decisions as required.
. Complies with the company Health, Safety and Environment as well as work permit, policies and procedures.
. Acknowledges and analyse all the alarms and take corrective action as required, and advise the concerned section heads for arranging urgent action.
. Communicates with suppliers control room regarding gas availability, quality and measurement and maintenance schedule, as well as with customers regarding scheduled maintenance and other activities.
. Monitors all the operation & maintenance activities on the pipeline network and handing over the system to next shift reliever.
. Handles emergency situations and follow up Emergency plan as per the procedure.
