Mechanical Engineer

A Mechanical Engineering undergraduate (2nd year) at the University of Peradeniya who is keen to join the mechanical engineering company before the graduation

• Preventive Maintenance Practices

• Plant & Equipment Maintenance Practices

• Technical Services Practices

• Work study of energy consumption and preventing unnecessary energy wastage.

• Study to maintain and monitor spare parts availability within minimum inventory level

• Study directly oversees the implementation of all activities through ensuring proper materials, quality & quantity of work, adequate documentation, updating & record keeping.

• Study to evaluate machine performance and initiate ideas to upgrade and improve machine utilization and efficiency.

• Study to attend machinery breakdown immediately at any time if required.

• Study to ensure safety at work, of personnel under supervision and implement proper safe keeping and cleanliness of working area.

• Study to keeping manufacturing lines at optimum condition in order to the System requirements.


• Study how to prepare weekly/ monthly/annually progress reports.

• BSc. Undergraduate (2nd year) in Mechanical Engineering at University of Peradeniya.
