Lead Project Engineer

I am currently the lead project engineer & controls in the EPC design office for the Harweel Phase-2AB Project (US$1.5+ billion) which is an EOR (miscible gasflood) project.

Jul/2004 - Present Lead Project Engineer & Controls Harweel Phase-2AB Project
-Responsible for all Project Engineering issue pertaining to cost & schedule, facilitate technical reviews, manage contract variations, provide technical and contractual support for Harweel Phase-2AB Project (USD 1,500+millions)
-Responsible for Cost Control, Change Control and manage all project variations
-Responsible to oversee all procurement activities in view of project schedule, and all external project interfaces
-Successfully assigned High Pressure Injection Compressor Package (USD 50+ millions) to the EPC Contractor
-Lead the Tendering process of the Main EPC Contract and High Pressure Zalzala Injection Compressor Package, participated in the single source negotiations.
-Assigned as Company Representative of the High Pressure Zalzala Injection Compressor Package (USD 50+ millions)
-Acted as Control Holder on few occasions for Harweel Phase-2AB EPC Contract (USD 1,500+millions)

Apr/2003 – July/2004 Head of Facilities Construction Harweel-Phase-1 EDF Project
-Responsible for all construction activities for the Harweel Phase-1 EDF Project involving four EPC contractors
-Successfully managed construction budget of USD 17.2 millions.
-Reviewed and approved integrated construction execution, pre-commissioning & shutdown plans, managed operations and intra-contract technical and commercial interfaces.
-Provided construction and technical input during detail design of the facilities
-Lead a construction team representing discipline engineers, inspectors and controllers (approx 18 staff)
-Manage HSE performance of all contracts, review & ensure implementation of HSE plans, STOP & HEMP systems, execute audits and close-outs

I possess 8+ years of diverse experience with Petroleum Development Oman LLC. During my career exposure, I have gained vast technical and project managerial experience stretching through process engineering, materials, mechanical engineering, planning and project engineering/management and control. I have been involved in one of the first PDO mega project representing high pressure and high H2S/C02 from Phase-1 to now in Phase-2AB presenting under execution. I am currently the lead project engineer & controls in the EPC design office for the Harweel Phase-2AB Project (US$1.5+ billion) which is an EOR (miscible gasflood) project.
