Job demand

As a control room operator, i'd like to increase my experience in order to improve my skills, so that i could become a production engineer.

From September 2003 to June 2006, i worked as a junior operator on Remboué oil field in Gabon for Panafrican Energy. My main responsibility was to assist senior operator to maximise the oil production from 8 wells, which produced 1400 barrels oil per day.

From July 2006 to November 2006, i worked as senior operator on Tsiengui oil field in Gabon for Panafrican Energy.
As a senior operator, I led the operations of a larger production facility. This meant managing safety and looking after my staff. I was in charge to increase the oil production rate from 3000 bopd to 8000 bopd. It implied technically analysing well performance as well as visiting well head operations to help solve problems on the wells with reservoir engineers and slick line operators.

From December 2006 till now, i’ve been working as a control room operator on Tsiengui oil field in Gabon for Panafrican Energy which became ADDAX Petroleum in Gabon. Today my job is mainly focused on:
- Operating and maintaining existing wells and platforms,
- Analyzing well performance in order to improve production, which is now more than 12000 bopd,
- Controlling Tsiengui oil facility from computers running with “DeltaV system”,
- Storage and Controlling oil export from Tsiengui facility to the point of sale (Coucal),
- Making daily production report,
- Assisting the field supervisor in day-to-day production management, including safety and environmental issues.

2002-2003: DUT (Diplôme Universitaire de Technologie) informatique
