Project involved with project management team:

• Setting up the right way of managing the projects (preparation, engineering, feasibility studies, design, stage concepts, budget preparation, cost evaluation, cost/budget control, construction, QA/QC,…)
• CAPEX preparation + help with OPEX
• Leading the team and showing them the proper way to manage the project (FIDIC style)
• Evaluation of potential improvements in current production
• Setting up a purchasing department for project purposes
• Working closely with finance department on all important numbers (specially projects & operations orientated)
• Expansion of the production (new production block) - $ 240 MIO (from mid-September 2012 – to the end of contract spending and showing people on stie how to organize meetings, control,…)
• Expansion of existing production - $ 53 MIO
• New road construction/design/evaluation - $ 5 MIO + 74 MIO
• New camp side infrastructure – 4 MION
• New power lines and electricity supplies
• Various smaller ones (below 20 MIO)

Current project status:

- Field project engineer for Wellman Furnaces Ltd (UK – Birmingham) where I
have spent 6 months to get to know the project which is now ongoing in steel
factory Acroni (Jesenice, Slovenia)
- The project (Wellman Furnaces) is worth ca. 25 MIO € (steel constructions,
new equipment, pipe work, electrical, civil)
- Responsible for the whole package (turn key project) which means I am
responsible for financial part (choosing the right companies) as well as
technical part of the project
- Different companies have to report to me on their project status (time
schedule – MS Project) on a daily to weekly basis
