- Working as a Database Administrator for the CMBI group which contains
about 5 companies and more than 33 databases 30 of them are production.
Configuring and troubleshooting all of them are my responsibility and we
still creating & configuring new databases.

My Responsibilities include:

* Install and manage Oracle databases
* Design the physical structure of the databases
* Design and implement the replication environment
* Administer the replication environment
* Use the Replication Management tool in OEM & Replication Management APIs to create, monitor, and manage replication environment
* Move data among different databases through Export/Import utilities
* Taking Logical , Physical (Hot and Cold) backups for the database
* RMAN configuration (creating RMAN backup scripts for incremental & full database backup and run these scripts regularly)
* Ensuring accessibility and recoverability of the database (disaster recovery of database pertain various types of database Failures and that too in different database modes)
* Migrating the older databases to the new releases
* Scheduling backup and export tasks
* Proactive Maintenance using dynamic views and metadata views
* Monitoring the Alert log file regularly
* Administering User Security and activity
* Managing the Oracle instance
* SQL & PL/SQL Coding
* Operating system scripting
* Move data among different databases through Export/Import utilities
* Modifying the database structure, as necessary
* Stand by for calls and troubleshooting Critical problems occurs in the non business hours
