As Head Of Hydro-Carbon/Oil&Gas/Refinery/Petrochemical Laboratory;- my Objective is to run the Lab smoothly rendering services to concerned Dept.And to exceed their expectation. Improve Quality Standard, Optimise the available resources.

At present I am working as Senior Laboratory Chemist (Head Of NGL Laboratory) since Yr. 2000 Produces/manufacturer of Propane, Butane(LPG), Gasoline, Condensates, Fuel Gas, Methane, Ethane, Acid gas, Sulphur,N2 . My main responsibilities/duties are as under:-

“ASST. CHEMIST” ( GROUP LEADER) FROM NOV., 1977 TO 1987 (10 YEARS)

With ARAMCO; Dhahran, Saudi Arabia (World’s largest producer of Oil & Gas).

SHIFT CHEMIST:From 1972 TO 1977:

SHIFT CHEIMIST (Incharge of Laboratory and Plant) in the Resin, and Varnish Plant of U.K. based multinational company “COATES OF INDIA LTD., BOMBAY” for a period of 5 years. This post was in their management staff.


CHEMIST: With Sandip Soap Factory Amalner, for 6 Months. I introduced 300% Silicated Laundry Soap “JANATA SOAP”. I was incharge of the plant and laboratory as well.

CHEMIST – with PREMCEM GUMS (P) Ltd., Bombay for 6 Months, (Manufacturer of Oil, Soap and Guar Gum Powder) Beside my routine duties of Quality Control on Oil, Soap and Guar Gum Powder I put back one baby solvent extraction plant into operation from its Scrap condition. Also I prepared a Project report on TRO (Turkey Red Oil) used in Sugar industries.

- NGL Laboratory has 22 Lab staff with Two Lab Chemist and one LIMS Supervisor to assist me in overall supervising and smooth functioning of Lab
- Preparation of CAPEX and OPEX budget
- Optimization of consumables and spare parts.
- To implement and monitor HSE ( Health, safety & Environment).
- To render Lab services to NGL-1,2,3 &4, Utility, Terminal, Field sampling, Off-Shore sampling and Environmental monitoring of NGL complex.
- To conduct Test runs for Operations.
- Consolidating, over-viewing of 24 Hrs report before e-mailing to concerned proponent. And to participate in management production meeting.
- Yearly appraisal of Lab staff, Yearly vacation schedule.
- Troubleshooting in the plant.
- To participate and guide in IS0 -9000-2000 during internal audit and external audit.
- To participate & guide in implementation of LIMS ( Lab information management system) phase wise.
- Training/guiding local/Qatari staff for different level jobs.
- To participate in meeting with various vendors, customers and bench mark studies.
- To upgrade Lab equipment/Instrumentation in association with Instrument Engineer & Chemist.
- To update all Lab standard procedures yearly and to conduct yearly meeting with operations in making sampling schedule.
- To conduct monthly Lab safety meeting, Preparation of monthly Lab report, To conduct yearly Emergency drill.
- Now, I am the focal point for construction of new Central Laboratory.
