To utilize my qualifications as a knowledgeable and skilled Safety Professional in the specialized field including Oil and Gas Industry

From 7th October 2007 to 20th Nov 2008 worked as HSE Engineer in Punj Lloyd
Project: Doha Urban Pipeline Relocation Project under Qatar Petroleum.
Major Activities:-
a) Construction and commissioning of 36” pipeline.
b) Construction and commissioning of 12” pipeline.
c) Construction and commissioning of 8” pipeline.
d) Construction and modification of various stations.

From 11th June 2006 till to date working as HSE Officer in International Mechanical and Electrical Company

Project: a) Inter Refinery Pipeline project (Cross country) in RUWAIS REFINERY (Abu Dhabi)
b) Cable Laying of 132KV, 11KV & Control Cables in RUWAIS REFINERY (Abu Dhabi)

Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure that employees are aware of the Company HSE policy & site emergency procedure.
Explain/ Educate the work force about the work related hazards and control measures.
Ensure that safe system of work is in place.
Take part as an active member of the risk assessment team.Ensure that store procedure and waste management is carried out as per the procedure.
Ensure that employees are wearing personal protective equipments as per directives.
Conduct adequate safety training to the employees
Attend weekly/monthly safety meeting with the client for the improvement of site safety standard.
Conduct weekly site safety meeting, discuss the safety issues with the senior staffs.
Maintain the records of HSE issues.
Conduct internal audits and discuss the strength & weakness with the management.
Ensure that fire fighting/emergency evacuation system is maintained & periodic drills conducted.
Carryout daily site inspection and submit the control measures to the management.
Ensure that permit to work system is followed.
Ensure regular toolbox talk is conducted by the foreman.
Ensure daily house keeping carried out and the site is neat & tidy
Inspection of welfare facilities.

From March 2000 to 02 June 2006: Worked as a Safety Officer in Kuwait flour mills & Bakeries Co.

1.NEBOSH IGC qualified with distinction in 2008.
2.Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
3.Bachelor of Engineering (Equivalent).
4.Diploma in Industrial safety management, Fire fighting technique & First aid.
5.NBCD course including fire fighting.
6.Chief Electrical Artificer Course.
7.One year Engineering Artificer Course with fire fighting.

1 Course in Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities from Univan Training Institute, Cochin.
2 Basic first aid course from Venture Gulf Training Centre, Qatar.
3 H2S/BA Awareness course from Venture Gulf Training Centre,Qatar.
4 Permit to work Training Level 1 from Qatar Petroleum.
5 Leadership course from INS Agrani, Coimbatore.
6 Management course from INS Agrani, Coimbatore.
7 Pre- Commissioning training from PCT School, Cochin.
