Major Duties are as follows:-

Responsible for supervision and coordination of processing the applications for award of Licences inaccordance with applicable polices and procedures
„« Responsible for tendering of blocks keeping in view the major terms and conditions of the contract and to supervise the bidding process.
„« Attend meetings where matters relating to tender content are discussed inpresence of operations, exploration and database departments to ensure the contractual contents of bids are correct.
„« Evaluation of bids for award of Licences on the basis of best work programme and related financial commitment
„« Review and negotiate Contract terms and conditions (Royalties, taxes, production bonuses, production sharing) for the purpose of protecting the company¡¦s contractual interest particularly Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Government¡¦s take
„« Review all incoming and outgoing correspondence for contractual correctness and to ensure that the final document achieves technical and legal sound position
„« Responsible for working with the other department members to ensure the contractual legal, taxation, import and export and other fiscal terms are inaccordance with the prevailing rules, policies and procedures
„« Provide direct inputs to the head of department to proposals, plans, client presentations
„« Make presentations to the companies, delegations from different countries interms of incentives offered in the policies and procedures
„« Maintain records of training fund and to perform and conduct audits for training fund payments
„« Drafting different contracts of assignment of working interest, supplemental agreements to incorporate the new terms and conditions issued by the government from time to time, supplemental agreements for name change of the company, farm in and farm out agreements, Novation agreements
„« Attending extensive meetings with stake holders, government high officers and high officials of government from different countries

Petroleum Contract Management and Negotiations
Two day training programme by Pakistan Petroleum Exploration and Production Companies Association (PPEPCA) on issues related to Contracts like Exploration Licences, Petroleum Concession Agreements, Leases.

IHS ENERGY (April - May 2006):-
Worked on two different software mentioned herein for a period of 30 days in guidance of IHS ENERGY Consultants to check the economy of the fields particularly the case study of different fields including the marginal fields were undertaken.
i) QUESTOR which provides Oil and gas cost analyses solutions and
ii) ASSET, for Project and portfolio economic evaluation system
