Checking of Salary Input related documents/ mails received from employees
• Tax related inputs – Investments, Exemptions & Deductions
• General Inputs – Promotion, Pay Change, Transfer, Loans, Car, Utility, Salary Advance, Cost Centre Changes, Leave Without Pay, LTA & Leave Encashment, Miscellaneous Payments/ recoveries, Bank Account, Transport, VPF, etc.
• New joinee inputs in SAP
• Running of all actions arising in tenure of an employee.


• Checking of Gross Monthly Salary vis-ΰ-vis Offer letter before salary processing
• Month end checking of output vis-ΰ-vis input
• Headcount Reconciliation
• Maintaining various MIS vis-ΰ-vis Payroll

Induction and training
• Liasioning with the outside agencies for training
• Coordination for Induction

Other HR functions
• Setting targets for the employees
• Deriving KRAs and Administration of PMS
• Setting MOU for the Department
• Providing manpower to Business units



Personnel –related legal matters:
• Hands on experience and expertise in dealing with matters before courts, Industrial Tribunals, High courts, Labour Authorities
• Active involvement in the form of collecting facts and details from relevant sources ,compiling them and providing the same to the advocates in court matters for drafting replies
• Liaising with the Advocates on the pending matters


Industrial Relations:
• Visiting upcountry locations, meeting staff posted and inquiring about the personal matters
• Pending personal issues/claims with HR department and sharing knowledge of developments in the company
• The entire exercise is based on the premise of building stronger bonds through communication

Contract Labour matters:
• Advising our various locations departments on the Do-s and Don’ts of engaging contract labor in wake of the increased judicial activism in this field
• Providing, vetting draft contract agreements to departments, locations for awarding contract.

Union Interaction
• Attending management –union meetings on the various issues

Eductation

Professional Qualifications:

PGDM in Personnel Management and HRD,
Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune ( 1994- 1996 )

Diploma in Training & Development
Indian Council for Labour Management, Chennai - 1996

Academic Qualification:

B.Sc (Chemistry) -1st class honors, Nowrosjee Wadia College, Pune , 1990-1994
