Geologist (just about to graduated)

Objective: Petroleum Geologist with a knowledge of oil, gas and condensate fields, seeking to undertake a challenging position with a dynamic oil company.

Experience
2005 – 2007: UNESCO-MSU Training and Research Center for marine Geology and Geophysics. (Geoscientist, participating scientific cruises on the chip, participating international conferences)
2005 – 2006: Institute of geochemistry and analytic chemistry Russian Academy of Sciences.(work in the laboratory, geochemical investigation of the organic matter using chromato-mass- spectrometry analyses).
2006 (June - November): Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research (NIOZ), Department of Marine Biogeochemistry and Toxicology (internship position for 6 months. Thesis preparation for master degree)
2007 may – present. Participating in student project about Western Siberia connected with Shell. (Investigations of oils and bitumens by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GS-MS Qadrapol) analyses. Sample preparation for analyses, decryption of biomarkers, interpretation of obtained results (chromatograms), making a database of oil’s composition and properties)

Education
The incumbent has received comprehensive education at the internationally Moscow State University by achieving a High Honor Bachelors Degree in Petroleum Geology of Oil and Gas Department. (Red diploma)

2002 – 2006: Significant Coursework: geology and geochemistry of oil and gas; structural geology; oil and gas fields in Russia; well-boring; methods of search and exploring of oil and gas fields; geophysics investigation of wells; groundwater geology; historical geology; geology of Russia; geophysics; sedimentology; petrography; mineralogy and etc.

2006 – 2008 (May) Master Degree in petroleum geology of oil and gas department. Moscow State University.
