Summary of experience
Twenty (23) years experience on all aspects of Rotating Machinery for onshore and offshore applications including specification and selection, design approval, witness testing, inspection, installation, commissioning start-up, maintenance and technical services. This involved project work in the design office and field support on site. Engaged in troubleshooting, condition monitoring, vibration analysis, failure analysis, field balancing, bore scope inspections, overhauls, retrofits, change-outs, and re-rates on centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, steam and gas turbines, BFW pumps, cryogenic pumps, vertical pumps, fans and gearboxes. Conversant with rotor high-speed balancing, machine alignment, , rotor dynamics, dynamic simulations and tensional critical speed analysis. Familiar with API,British and Eumpean Standards, ASME PTC's and Shell DEP's. Detailed knowledge and experience of auxiliaries such as CCC surge and performance controllers, dry gas seals, electronic governors, magnetic bearings, diaphragm couplings, vibration and bearing temperature monitoring equipment, lube and seal oil systems and acoustic enclosures. Extensive involvement with Equipment Vendors.
