Professional Experience
• Maintenance, service, fault finding, calibration and periodical preventive maintenance routines for all the field instrument equipments including level, temperature, pressure and flow transmitters, control valves, on-off valves, motor operated valves, instrument air regulators, chemical injection flow control valves, position switches, water quality sensors (PH, conductivity, redox), solenoid valves, wellhead control panel and etc.
• Maintenance, service, fault finding, calibration and periodical preventive maintenance routines for all the fire and gas safe guarding field equipments includes gas, flame, smoke and heat detectors, deluge systems, Portable gas detectors, gasman equipments and etc.
• Responsible as an ICS custodian engineer including following items.
o Maintenance and service of main process controlling system which is based on a Yokogawa distributed control system (DCS). Assistance production section during startup the plant especially when an out of normal sequence activity is required for startup. Hardware fault finding and testing the logics during preventive maintenance routines.
o Maintenance and service of ESD (Emergency Shut Down) and F&G (Fire and Gas safe guarding) control systems which are based on Yokogawa ProSafe PLC (Programmable logic Controller). Hardware fault finding, monitoring the functionality of different nodes, doing required modifications, override the required inputs or outputs of blocks according to the plant conditions and etc.
o Responsible for controlling systems of RO package (Reverse Osmosis) and HVAC which are based on Siemens Simatic S7 PLC.
o Maintenance, service & fault finding of vibration monitoring systems which are based on Bently Nevada modules. These systems have been used to protect gas turbine, crude oil export pumps, gas compressors & diesel centrifuge package.

I joined IOOC on 11th October 2003 and got involved trough Soroosh and Nowrooz integrated project between Shell and IOOC. I was a member of IOOC verification team during commissioning activities of Nowrooz oil platform. Since hand over on 9th August 2005 I have undertaken all responsibilities as an instrument and control engineer.
