• Sperry Drilling Services, a Halliburton Company - Well Log Analyst
June 2006 to June 2007 - One year experience working as a Log Analyst, with a good understanding of
LWD data, performing log quality control, analysis, processing and interpretation. Responsible for direct
support for the costumer on any subjects concerning LWD measurements such as log quality control,
processing and final edition of LWD data for final customer presentations, as well as generating DLIS
files reaching the National Petroleum Agency standard format and demands and also collecting and
handling LAS and ASCII data. Familiarized with formation evaluation, formation pressure, permeability,
porosity and shale volume estimations. Also responsible for monitoring geosteering real time drilling
operations, using correlation logs to adjust a proposed 2D geologic model to the real time logs in order to
keep a directional wellbore within a particular section of a reservoir.
Recently concluded two Petroskills Institute courses in Houston-TX, on Well Log Interpretation and
Wireline Formation Testers, as well as a Halliburton course on Introduction to Log Analysis.
• Sperry Drilling Services, a Halliburton Company - Senior MWD Field Engineer
February 2001 to June 2006 - Strong background in field operations working on offshore and land drilling
installations performing real time data acquisition from formation evaluation tools during drilling
operations. Certified to supervise handling of radioactive sources. Responsible for job related
paperwork, including final customer presentations and post-job meetings for log quality control. Able to
lead Quad Combo jobs and run real time magnetic resonance, formation tester, borehole pressure,
vibration, and geosteering, sensors. Experienced on both positive and negative pulse telemetry systems.
Concluded training courses in Halliburton Training Center, located in Houston-TX: LWD I, LWD II, ALD
(density), CTN (neutron), BAT Sonic, and Geotap (formation tester), to work in Brazil operating
Formation Evaluation tools and INSITE computer system.

I am currently seeking a position as LWD Field Engineer, Well Log Analyst, Petrophysicist or Geological Modeler and I would be glad to perform this job anywhere in the world. For the last 7 years I worked with Halliburton Energy Services where I could get a strong field work background, followed by a one year period working as a Log Analyst, with a good understanding of LWD data, performing log quality control, analysis, processing and interpretation. I was responsible for direct
support for the costumer on any subjects concerning LWD measurements such as log quality control, processing and final edition of LWD data for final customer presentations, also responsible for monitoring geosteering real time drilling operations, using correlation logs to adjust a proposed 2D geologic model to the real time logs in order to keep a directional wellbore within a particular section of a reservoir.
