Professional Experience
• 15 years¡¦ experience, mostly in Inspection and Quality Control, while working for Inspection department in 7.5MMTPA Oil refinery of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited.
• As an Inspection team leader, planned and executed turn around Inspection activities for equipments and pipelines of three Crude Distillation units, one Fluidised catalytic cracking unit, LPG/CRN Merox unit and one Diesel Hydro-Desulphurisation unit apart from storage tanks and pipelines in offsite battery limits .
• As an Inspection engineer on deputation to Kuwait National Petroleum Company for GRTA of Shuaiba Refinery, worked in H-Oil Ebullating bed hydrocracker unit shutdown.
• As an Inspection engineer, planned and executed Inspection activities of all refinery equipments and pipelines for regular maintenance activities as per stipulated statutory guidelines.

• Possess extensive knowledge and thorough experience in inspection activities and corrosion studies of equipments in various refinery process units like Crude distillation units, Vacuum distillation units, Fluidised Catalytic cracking units, treating units like Merox and Diesel¡VHydro Desulphurisation, Effluent treatment plants, Boilers, DM Plants and Offsite facilities like tanks, piping, etc.
• In depth knowledge of welding technology and various NDT techniques applicable for Refinery and Petrochemical industry.
• Excellent inter-personal relationship with team members, consultants and job executing agencies.
• Prime awareness for total quality in all assignments, having flair of an independent Inspection Manager.

Achievements
• As an Inspection Engineer on deputation to Kuwait National Petroleum Company, Shuaiba Refinery for the General Refinery Turn Around 2006, carried out inspection and repair activities of H-Oil unit, consisting of Ebullating bed reactor, Hydrogen charge heater, Feed heater, Fractionator, Breech Lock Exchangers, vessels and piping. The shutdown was completed and the plant was commissioned 10 days ahead of schedule.
• As a Lead Inspection Engineer, carried out inspection and repair activities of LPG Amine, LPG Merox , CRN Merox and Sour Water stripping unit and Refinery Flare consisting of 23 Heat Exchangers, 25 Vessels, 6 Columns and associated hydrocarbon/utility piping with a team of engineers comprising of NDT and welding professionals and successful commissioning of the same.
• As a Lead Inspection Engineer, carried out inspection and repair activities of three large Process heaters of Atmospheric, Vacuum and FCCU Charge with a team of engineers comprising of refractory experts, NDT professionals and successful commissioning of the same for 3.0MMTPA CDU/VDU and 0.9MMTPA FCCU within 25 days.
• Developed a detailed job scope/contract and carry out Acoustic Emission Testing for corrosion mapping of Tank bottom plates for four old 79m dia. Crude Oil and 40m dia. Fuel Oil tanks, for the first time at Visakh Refinery.
