Quality assurance engineer - Random inspection to ensure that the quality plans are implemented and specified requirements is met. Prepares request for inspection of work and checked base on the approved inspection and test plan prior to project consultant inspection and commencing of work. Assist QA/QC Engineer for the coordination with the project consultant regarding materials testing requirement and specification. Issue a Non-Conformance Report (NCR) when any part of the construction, materials or equipment do not conform to the requirements of technical specification, approved submittal, design drawing and applicable industry standards. Check delivered materials based on its specification and informed supplier for any discrepancy in the materials. Checked & update the material certificate, calibration of equipment & medical certificate for diver. Monitor construction activities and prepare monthly progress report. Maintain a chronological filing of documents in soft and hard copy.
Safety Engineer - Assist Safety Manager in developing safe system of work, preparing & review of safety plan & procedure for the project. Prepare appropriate safety requirement for inclusion in work method statement. Ensure all plants & equipments are fit for the purpose. Prepares reports for submission (monthly accident statistic, accident report, near miss & other report) required by the project consultant. Conduct induction & toolbox talk for the newly joined employee. Coordinate with the subcontractor and ensure that they are following company safety plan. Carry out and record regular safety inspection. Take an early morning round at the site prior to commencing of work. Administer permit to work procedure. Carrying out a risk assessment, & accident investigation & recording. Attend safety meeting with the project consultant & coordinate with the management & safety personnel.
