Key responsibilities include;
« Preparing monthly Depreciation charge in USD function for management information.
« Reconciliation & managing of bank accounts for the company, both in Head office and Overseas Stations.
« Conducting system studies for ORACLE, COMET, etc..
« Preparation of timely and accurate financial reports for management.
« Accounting for overseas expenditure relating to asset purchases including improving existing system procedures & controls in relation to overseas expenditure.
« Improve and develop systems to achieve efficient output.
« Monitor actual payments for direct operating cost against accruals
« Establish accurate standard for calculation of accruals.(Direct operating cost)
« Preparation of Pre-Delivery Payments Reconciliation
« Preparation of Lease and finance charges every month ending.
« Preparation of Emirates Unpaid Bills.
« Revalue the foreign currency bank balance using the month end spot rate each month.
« Account the month‘¦s bank charges using the month internal rate & account it in the next month.
« Making sure that all the fund transfer payment vouchers are accounted using the internal rate before the month closure.
« Unbatched Payments, Unbatched Receipts, Not taken to Payment Cash Book & Not taken to Receipt Cash Book should be cleared before the Month closure.
« Regular update on the changes in the rentals of those accounts mentioned and consider whether pre- payments needs to be reversed & new rental to be passed to pre payments.
« Exchange gain/loss on receipt of actual need to be Transfer to P&L.
« Actual pertaining to previous year needs to be transfer to Accrued Expenditure, over/(under) Provisions needs to be adjusted & Exe gain/(loss) needs to transfer to P&L
« Obtain all the Actual Invoices & files in the relevant lease files.
« Be alert about the Account where the Actual are Transferred as most of the time Payments Department Transfer Payments to Incorrect Accounts not to the Accounts we make the Provision.
