Job Description :
• Be a visible leader in field operations.
• Serve as a contact for and coordinate HES support for Drilling& Completion operations as an integral member of the D&C group
• Participate in HES risk management, including hazard identification & assistance in development of mitigation strategies
• Provide on site coaching for Job Safety Analysis preparation, hazard identification, near miss reporting and job planning.
• Facilitate implementation of procedures and expectation
• Support the Behavior Based Safety, Incident Reporting, Stop Work Authority and Short Service Employee Processes
• Provide HES participation in design and operations reviews
• Audit and inspect ongoing HES activities.
• Monitor safety and work practice performance of contractors
• Review performance indicators to determine proactive measures to improve safety performance & alignment with Global Drilling HES tracking requirements
• Provide support for local D&C emergency response activities including training, drills and incident response.
• Inspect safety equipments &personal protective equipments(PPE)
• Consult/advise on waste issues and liaise with business unit Hazardous Waste Advisor
• Participate / Facilitate incident investigation, when required
• Provide on site HES training/coaching according OSHA standards.
• Support Management of Change Process for rig moves, process changes and personnel/contractor changes.
• Apply problem solving skills to resolve difficult situation or project related issues.
• Communicate both orally and in writing in a clear, concise, and effective manner with all employees including management.
• Provide training to a diverse work force
• Ability to listen and respect viewpoints of others.
