Senior Project Controls Engineer

Position: Senior Project Controls Engineer

Responsibilities are:

• Preparation and detailing of Level4 construction schedule for all site activities on Primavera P3, resource loading and manpower histogram analysis.
• Follow up and calculation of weekly progress for all disciplines, preparation of weekly and monthly reports for the client and the project top management.
• Preparation of Cost reports and productivity monitoring reports.
• Estimation of change orders and additional works on lump-sum and re-measure basis.
• Preparation of subcontract agreements and follow up monthly payments.
• Permanent and consumable Material Procurement.
• System setup and Workflow design for all project control departments (Engineering, Planning, Progress Monitoring, Cost Control, Material Management, Document Control, Quality Control and Quantity Surveying).
• Coordination between all office departments to ensure full compatibility and maximum utilization of the project databases.
• Enhancing production processes to reduce project over runs.
• Creating data exchange procedures between in-house and client systems.
• Project ITP's (Inspection and Test Plans), certification, documentation and handing over.
• Preparation of piping shop drawings from PDS, PDMS models using AutoCAD and Micro station.
• Assuring the compatibility of all engineering drawings (General arrangements, Piping and instrumentation Diagrams, Isometrics and spools).
• Preparation of test-packages and flushing circuits for pre-commissioning activities. i.e. (Steam blowing, air blowing, chemical cleaning and water flushing).

1994-1999 BSc in Mechanical Engineering / Thermal Power at Jordan University of Science and Technology Amman-Jordan

Project Management Professional (PMP).

• Excellent Expertise with Primavera Scheduling P3.
• Experience with extension of time claims analysis and writing cases.
• Excellent analytical thinking.
• Thorough knowledge in using MS Office (Access, Excel, Word, Project, Power Point).
• Excellent experience in AutoCAD application.
• Expert in Visual Fox-Pro, SQL Server database and Crystal Reports.
