Professional Experience
Responsible for 120 Emergency Response Members, 25 Security Officers and 5 Maintenance Contractors.
Take control and lead intervention approach at all fire and emergencies.
Manage and supervise the Security of TOTAL Lindsey Oil Refinery property and associated assets.
Active in all training, development and competency assurance assessments of all TOTAL Lindsey Oil Refinery personnel.
Management of the TOTAL Lindsey Oil Refinery Emergency Response arrangements in particular maintaining and developing the Emergency Response Team, providing training and guidance on roles and responsibilities and arranging the Emergency Response training and exercises.
Responsible for maintaining all site mobile and fixed fire fighting equipment at TOTAL Lindsey Oil Refinery. Identify needs and implement best practice for mobile and fixed fire fighting equipment.
Arrange and conduct all emergency response exercises.
Provide instruction and training for all emergency response intervention team, including fire fighting, BA, oil spill support and emergency medical training.
Carry out Fire Risk Assessments for all process areas in conjunction with Major Accident Hazard scenarios as identified in the COMAH process unit reports. Produce detailed intervention plans, both specific and generic for all areas.
Ensure an effective maintenance program for all associated emergency equipment.
Prepare tender documentation for emergency response related equipment and Security services.
Conduct all fire risk assessments and emergency response inspections as required.
Participate in Incident Investigations.
Participate as an Audit Team Member.
Ensuring all site Inductions are effectively conducted
