Electrical/instrument Engineer , Supervisor

As commissioning Engineer provides the E&I engineering design, procurement and coordinates construction and commissioning of project assigned. Work in harmony with the project for overall of the assignment.

PROJECT INVOLVES

1) FPSO KIKEH TOPSIDES , MALAYSIA DEEPWATER FLOATING TERMINAL (MDFT)
(CLIENT – MISC & MURPHY)

• Job scopes include energization of Electrical Lighting System (Normal and Emergency); prepare the documentations and procedures related to it.
• Complete Inspection Test Record (ITR) and submit to client.
• Ensure energization deliverables are on schedule and in compliance with standards/regulations, meeting customer’s satisfaction and providing electrical technical support as per project’s requirements.
• Involved in Hi Pot Testing of HV switchgear and cable.
• Complete inspection and testing the UPS system.
• Also responsible in installation and testing the high expansion foam ,fire extinguishing system.
• Experience with Turbine Generator Start up and Commissioning and prepare the load test.

2) FPSO KIKEH TURRET (MDFT)
(CLIENT – MISC & MURPHY)
• Job scopes include energization of Electrical Lighting System (Normal and Emergency);
prepare the documentations and procedures related to it.
• Complete Inspection Test Record (ITR) and submit to client.
• Ensure energization deliverables are on schedule and in compliance with standards/regulations, meeting customer’s satisfaction and providing electrical technical support as per project’s requirements

ABILITY
1. Electrical Distribution Systems including 480V Motor Control Centers
2. Lighting Systems and Distribution Panels
3. DC and UPS Power Systems
4. Wiring and Troubleshooting ability
5. Experience with Turbine Generator Start up and Commissioning
6. Experience with Diesel Engine driven Back up Emergency Generator Sets
7. Experience with 480vac and medium voltage 4160vac and above switchgear controls
8. Pump installation and troubleshooting.

RESPONSIBILITY

1. Review/generate project schedules and develops work plans to support project milestones related to Commissioning project.
2. Report discipline progress against scheduled activities. Coordinate craft and equipment support for commissioning activities.
3. Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following established procedures.
4. Ensures proper operation of all systems and equipment.
5. Promotes efficient & cost effective site activities by providing ongoing assessment of personnel and current commissioning practices.
6. Participates in Design, Commissioning and Operability reviews and assists in the development of pre-comm & commissioning plans.
7. Plans the work process and prepares necessary documents such as checklists and work schedules for safe execution of the flied instrument commissioning activities.
8. Reviews the technical documents and reports prepared by technicians and contractor.
9. Coordinates with other commissioning supervisors and systems engineers in the commissioning activities.
10. Assists planning in estimation of resource requirements for planned jobs. Monitors subcontractor or controls direct hire labour force for his discipline.
11. Fully familiar with the drawings and specifications applicable to the project.
12. Ensures subcontractor works to the approved construction method statements and schedules.
