Functions and profits.
Simulation and revision of the design of the stabilizing tower of visbreaker unit; with the objective to reduce the RVP of the stabilized naphtha up to 10 kpa maximum. With the purpose of obtaining visbreaking naphtha in better conditions to mix and with less proportions of mercaptans sulfurs. Allowing the Cartagena refimery to be able to sell this naphtha in better price and therefore it generate greater profits for the company.

Functions and profits.
To cross products lines, analyzing and updating plane of pipe and instrumentation (PFD y P&D), apply norms API, handling data sheets, calculating and characterizing relief valves; designing and valuing the system of relief by thermal expansion for the dieesel systems, slurry, fuel-oil and LOC, elaborating recommendations for the improvement of the relief by thermal expansion of the refinery. With the objective to redesign the thermal relief system of the facilities for the receipt, it gives and mixtures of dieesel, LOC, slurry and fuel-oil. With the purpose of avoiding the product spills produced by thermal expansion; providing to the refinery a significant saving; the company profits avoiding accidents that can attempt with the personnel or the equipment.
