Mechanical Engineer ( Maintenance Engineer)

To obtain a challenging position in Mechanical Engineering profession that will allow me to utilize my knowledge and experience by working in a diverse and challenging environment.

- Presently working with Shell Gas LPG (Pakistan) Limited, a member of Royal Dutch Shell Group of Companies Since July 2005. Currently working as Plant Engineer at Filling & Storage Plant Korangi Creek Karachi.

Major Responsibilities:
- To operate the LPG Filling Plant according to Group HSE Standards and to ensure economic storage,sfilling and loading for the required range of Bulk and Packed LPG Product
- Reporting of Cost Control compare with Capital Expenditures.
- Carried out the periodic / Preventive maintenance of Plant & Machinery.
- Full command in Inventory, Vendor & down time management.
- Responsibilities for all JDE-Edwards activities relating to Plant Operations, Store, transport & procurement.
- Exposure in managing ERP, Safety and Improvement in projects
- To ensure smooth Product Receive and Dispatch operation with the integrity of sites through the application of Group’s Standards and Guidelines for managing the assets and operations

- Worked as Mechanical Engineer with GlaxoSmithKline in Engineering Department (Tablet & Liquid Block) at F-268, SITE Karachi. (November 2003 – June 2005)

Major Responsibilities:
- Carried out the periodic / Preventive maintenance of Plant & Machinery.
- Maintenance of Air Handling Units including cleaning & Replacement of Filter and Overhauling of Exhaust & Supply Duct
- Maintenance of Production Machine including Compression machine ,Coating Machine and Granulation Machine
- Maintenance of Heat Exchanger
- Maintenance of Fock Lifter & Reach Truck. (TCM, Crown & Daewoo)
- On site field support solution providing and provide training to site users.

- Worked as Internee with BP Pakistan Exploration & Production Inc. in Drilling Department. July 2002 – Aug 2002)

Major Responsibilities:
- Assisted Rig Supervisors in conducting various jobs at TANGREE-3, SOUTH BUZDAR DEEP-2, NORTH AKRI-2
- Got excellent knowledge in the following areas during the above mentioned BP’s Fields,
• Safety
• Drilling operations (drilling, well logging, casing and cementing, well completion)
• Basic well control (shut in procedure, well killing, factors that affect the well bore pressure, displacing a kick from the hole)
• Well control equipment (well heads, bop equipment)
• Five major systems of a rotary rig (hoisting system, power system, rotating system, circulating system, well control system
