• Thorough knowledge in fusion welding process. Welding inspection knowledge on pressure vessels, steel structural, Crude Oil Pipeline, Gas and LNG plant piping. Preparation of Procedure Qualification & Welding Procedure Specification in line with code requirements and applicable project specification.
• Conducting Welder Qualification test as per the approved WPS and applicable code and project specification. Carrying out visual inspection before, during and after welding. Knowledge in execution of weld repair.
• Identifying the NDT and Heat Treatment requirement on welding and evaluation of test results. Carrying out raw material in process and final inspection. Co-ordination with third party and company inspection agencies.
• Preparation of Test procedure for Hydro/Pneumatic test and maintaining the record. Preparation of inspection test plan. Acquired knowledge interprets different codes such as ASME/ANSI Sec. II, V, VIII, IX, B 16.5, B31.3, EN12079 and API 1104,
