„X Provides technical input and assistance as necessary to ensure that all budget and estimate issues are properly assessed and accounted for and that costs/budgets are realistic, based on previous experience/projects.
„X Reviews and asses existing relevant documentation at the project outset i.e. tender documentation, budget and estimate documentation, and co-ordinate the development and creation of Chart of Accounts (CoA) and project Budget for approval at the appropriate level within CCIC.
„X Liaise with relevant project management and planning engineers to ensure they are properly briefed on all aspects of budgeting stages with responsibilities for implementation properly assigned and understood including the implementation and modification of the project monitoring system as defined in company procedures.
„X Integrates planning, budgeting and cost analysis reports to develop a comprehensive overview of performance to date and to determine future approach/recommendations.
„X Provide accounts section with cost allocation and prepare the periodic cost report together with advice on provisional accounts.
„X Studies cost reports and monitoring data to; 1. Establish/check its integrity and accuracy, 2. Actual performance versus budget, and 3. Timelines, making recommendations to project management to manage any variations and implement remedial action.
„X Reviews and analyzes all cost reports and forecasts against plan, studying the assessing trends and fluctuations providing clear interpretation and advice on suggested appropriate action to relevant project management.
„X Compiles and collates data concerning unit cost and productivity norms which can become reference material for both future estimating and cost control purposes
