I started in the Venezuelan oil industry in 1980, (Maraven Oil Co. (subsidiary of PDVSA Oil Co. and Former Shell Co representation in Venezuela) as a financial analyst in financial processes then going to occupy different positions in the Finance department in various locations/ business areas (exploration,production,refining, trade and Corporate) to develop abilities and skills in accounting,, budget,hiring, and strategic planning systems. These recognized skills developed his taste for teaching and learning and interaction and respect achieved with the various departments in the 120 companies of the corporation qualify me to be the Human development and Administration Corporative Manager, in Bureau of Finance in Corporate Offices of PDVSA Oil Co reports directly to the PDVSA'S CFO (last position occupied until February 2003). There was primarily responsible for: Finance Executive Development Plan and direct responsible for Finance direction in Corporative Human Resources plans and special actions. Part of corporative teams for human development, Knowledge management, Executive educational programs, Change management and structural organization plans.Also administration and budget control for Finance Direction and Corporative Finance departments (421 peoples). Coordinate for the entire corporation financial employee (1230), the corporative languages program and the special development programs (CPA, CFA and Systems certification SAP)
In System area: He has worked in almost all phases of project in systems implementation like Development, Maintenance and Fine Tuning the objects in Post-implementation. (SAP, Millennium and Tandem);i worked with versions 3.1h to 4.5B. Worked extensively with FI and CO modules including d the hange management and instructional section.
In Financial Area: I worked on financial department of banking institutions (credits and operation area) and petroleum Company (production, refinery and corporative departments). He has worked with various areas including Budgeting, accounting, payroll, norms and systems from annalist to supervisor.
In Educational and Human resources area: I worked on Financial department in the develop and preserve the knowledge, design control the executive development plan of the complete Petroleum corporation in financial area and co-design the financial educational plan of all the executives.
