Assigned to data cleansing projects, working directly with Shell Petroleum Country procurement contacts and or refinery contacts. Map, analyze, correct and document key legacy master data objects to agreed standards.
Work with Shell UK, Malaysia and Singapore GSAP Team, coordinated the cleansing of the master data.
Report and travel to assigned country for data validation and checking.
Responsible for the detailed process and data structure design/build into a global SAP system for downstream, which is done on a country-by-country basis according to a roll-in schedule.
Responsible for the conversion of all legacy data to GSAP.
Create and Maintain Contracting & Procurement and Engineering related master data and ensure the integrity of the data and conformance with global standards and procedures.
Respond to enquiries related to the master data and its functionality, informing any errors to the data providers and proactively follow up to ensure resolution is achieved.
For data cleansing projects, perform data analysis, mapping, cleansing, correction, and documentation as required for GSAP roll-in countries. Interact on a limited but appropriate basis with Shell contacts in roll-in countries to understand status of legacy data and deliverables.
Self-monitor and report progress of work in relation to work schedule and ensure Supervisor and Shell customers are made fully aware of status at agreed to intervals. Solicit feedback for continuous master data process improvement.
Work as a part of the MRD operations and data cleansing team, doing what is required for the team to be successful.
Attend weekly telecoms and net meetings as per schedule of other Shell country.
