I am a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Chemistry and Mathematics, Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety & Management and NEBOSH - U.K. & with 11 years of experience in the area of Safety, Health & Environment, OIL & GAS CONSTRUCTION & operation industry

Administratively reports to Safety Manager.
Carries out daily site walk around to ensure adherence to safe work practices are in operation, Compliance to the Safe Work Procedure approved by client.
Liaises with the Client Site Safety Representative(s) and other plant concerned authorities or sub contractors for the implementation of Safety, Health and Environment Management system to ensure adherence to Company’s established safe work procedures, guidelines, standards and code of practice.
Adequate fire and fall Protection are in place, adequate welfare and first aid facilities are properly maintained, approved tools are being used and sufficient Personal Protective Equipment provided and properly worn to ensure Incident Injury Free workplace.
Participates at Corporate / Project-developed Safety Training / Incentive and Awareness Programs; attends safety meetings with the company / sub contractors.
Participation in weekly management walks through team as a management representative and weekly internal audit of different area.
Leads sub contractor’s safety representatives to ensure clear understanding of company’s HSE requirements and provide full support to line management during construction phase.
Advise and assistance to line management to provide assurance that potential hazards during execute stage are identifies & controlled by practicable measures.
Checks and ensures compliance of the approved HSE programs and procedures, Safe Work Permit System in the plant. Performs daily and documented periodic safety inspections at work site to identify report and correct unsafe conditions, methods and work practices.
Represents the company in all safety matters with the client on the project. Participates in full investigation of accident / incidents including near misses incurred; identifies probable causes and prepares reports of the same and ensures that established permanent preventive measures are subsequently carried out.
Attend and Conducts safety Toolbox Meetings in conjunction with line supervision, Emergency Safety meetings where required. On the Job Safety training, Hazard Identification Tours/ Job hazard Analysis, Pre-Deployment Safety Orientations, and Joint Site Safety Inspections with the client and other similar safety routine.

Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety Management” from Maharashtra Board of Technical Education, Mumbai (Govt. OF Maharashtra).
B.Sc. (Chemistry & Mathematics), passed in 1995 from Mumbai University, Mumbai.
