SAFETY ENGINEER / HSE ENGINEER

To manage HSE function effectively.

o Assisting in preparation of Occupational Health & Safety Policy framing.
o Training the employees in Occupational Health and Safety.
o Motivating Employees to participate in OH& S Activities by conduction tool box talks, Organizing safety competitions etc.
o Establishing and implementation of Safe Operating Procedures.(SOP) / Safe Work Instructions as per the job requirement.
o Verification of Compliance with applicable National / International HSE Regulations.
o Investigating and analyzing the selected accidents & incidents.
o Hazard Identification, Risk assessment and Implementation of Risk control measures.
o Conducting safety inspections as required and suggesting for Improvements.
o Up Keep of first aid facilities & maintenance of occupational health center.
o Arranging for periodical medical examination of the employees..
o Recommendation of suitable personal protective equipment and their procumbent plan and up keeping the necessary stocks.
o Implementing the best house keeping practices to ensure good house keeping.
o Machine and Area Guarding, Material handling equipment checks – Check listing & follow up activities.
o Work place Monitoring for harmful gases, Illumination & Noise and implementing the necessary precautions.
o Ensuring Permit To Work system is followed
o Maintenance of Fire prevention, Protection & Fire Fighting Systems.
o Emergency response plans (on Site & off Site) and conducting periodic mock rehearsals with the scenarios of various kinds.
o Conductance of HAZOP Study on Process / Plant Modifications
o Hazardous waste Management & Handling
