Process Design Engineer

General Department of Technology & Development (Consultant Technology)

§ -Provide consultative support to attempts to maximize profitability,ensure product quality,and improve the safety and operability of the plant.
§ -Manages and provides on site technical support (process Simulation (HYSYS – PROII ),plant trouble shooting
§ -Make a daily periodic check for all operating conditions which control unit operation.
§ -Familiar to deal with all referances,manuals,PFD &PIDs
§ -Familiar to DCS operating control devices, plant control philosophy.

ROUTINE JOBS
§ Perform Daily Production Report The Report Activities .
§ Perform Monthly , Yearly Monthly Report.
§ Perform Key Performance Indicators Every Quarter Of The Year
§ Perform And Sharing Dept. Head For Yearly Operating & Capital Budget .
§ Follow up of Operation of Distiilation Units
(4 Units each of Capacity 6000 Ton/Day)
§ Follow up of Operation of Catalytic Reformer Complex of Naphtha
§ Produced From Distillation Units Isomerization and Utility Units,Including Study
§ of Operational Problems and Recommendation of Suitable Solution
§ Participation in Planing and Excution of the Overall maintenance of
§ Distillation and Reformer Units
§ Participation in Planing and Excution of the Reformer Units Regeneration
§ and Maintenance
§ Participation of Drying Process of Fired
§ Follow up of Operation of Heaters (Box Cylindrical Types)
§ Pipeline network and transportion

As Process Design Engineer :-

§ Design and optimization of a chemical process to reducing capital and equipment cost while maximizing production,profitability and safety in Operation.
§ Preliminary Cost Estimation and Visibility Study for New Projects Such as Distillation Units,Vapor Recovery Units, Thermal Cracking units
§ Revamp of Existing Units
§ Basic Design of Refinary Equipment Such as
Tower – Pressure Vessels – Heat Exchangers – Storage Tanks-Safety
Relief and Flare system -Three Phase Separator
§ Selection and Laying Down The Technical Specifications of Pumps and Saftey Valves.
§ Design of PFD and P&IDs
