Process Engineer

Desire a Challenging position as Process Engineer in Process Engineering of Petroleum Refinery /Oil & Gas/Fertilizer industry using experience gained in Petroleum Refinery.

• Over 7.5 years of process engineering experience in petroleum refinery.
• Hands-on experience in all aspects of Process engineering applications at Naphtha Hydrotreating and CCR/Platforming Units, Effluent treatment plant, Offsite and Utilities.
• Thorough knowledge of Naphtha Hydrotreating and CCR/Platforming reactor chemistry, catalyst performance evaluation, product storage, blending and gantry operations, activated sludge type effluent treatment plant, cooling water chemistry.
• Familiarity with all process design safety requirement, including experience of HAZOP and Hazardous Area Classification.
• Comprehensive knowledge of chemical cleaning of Packinox combined feed exchanger in Platforming unit and CCR dust collector filters regeneration.
• Experience to prepare bar charts and plan turnaround related activities including shutdown /start-up and other activities.
• Experience of supervising Platforming Catalyst Unloading / removal of heel catalyst (for Reactors inspection & maintenance) and re-loading of fresh catalyst.
• Expertise to coordinate technical review (Management of change Process) meetings for modifications in plant.
• Familiarities with environmental aspects, NEQS, ISO-14000.
• Excellent team spirit and capable of interacting effectively with other discipline engineers with other departments such as operations, engineering, maintenance and material.
• Applied experience of process designing including process computer simulation, development of PFD’s and P&ID’s equipment sizing and specifications, line sizing, hydraulics calculation, project handling. Fully conversant with design codes and standards like API, ASME, NFPA etc.
• Proven ability to use applied research and problem solving skills to support learning as well as personal and professional development.
• Great ability to manage technical seminars, dealing technical delegates and to train fresh engineers.
• Proficient with MS office software, AutoCAD and various computer applications including, Design –II, Chemcad Therm.
• Inter-personal skills and comfortable working effectively both independently and in a team environment.

• B.Sc. Chemical Engineering, University of the Punjab (Sep 1994 ~ Dec 1999) Won the Punjab University Merit Scholarship and Roll of Honour in sports.
• Attended different HSE and other skill development trainings.
• JCCP’ s Training in TOKYO: Two week training on REFINERY OPERATIONS conducted by Japan Cooperation Centre, Petroleum (JCCP) in Japan
