• Preparation of PROJECT QUALITY DOUCUMENTS in accordance with company specs that fulfills
requirements of ASME code & Client's specification , Such as:
Project Quality Plan – Inspection and Test Plan – NDT Scope – Approved Welding Procedure – Approved
Welder List – Approved welder activity-NDT Procedures -Approved NDT Personnel - Equipments calibration list...etc.
• Preparing for ({R} stamp & {U} stamp) audits
• Making Repair Procedure
• Making Quality control plane (QCP) Or Inspection And Test Plane (ITP) for pressure vessel fabrication,
• Dealing with various codes, standards, and specifications (ASME, ASTM, API).
• Making WPS’S, PQR’S, WPQ’S, & NDT Procedures.
• Manufacturing & repair according to (ASME,NATIONAL BOARD)
• Plant Inspection According (API 510, API 570, API 571, API 572, API 573 ,API 574)
• Reviewing of Project Drawings and Preparation of Site Technical Query and concessions if required.
• Check the Quality aspects of the procurement requisitions and relevant orders affecting quality ,Issue a
• calibration equipment list for each project

Responsible for all the duties of the welding inspector before , during and after welding , including:
• Welder Qualification With Conformance the applicable codes and standards
• Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) preparation and qualification
• Pre-weld inspection Verification that dimensions Fit-up and weld preparations are in accordance with the engineering drawings
• Welding consumables identity Verification of correctness of welding consumables (electrodes, filler wires(
• Preheating Verification that preheat (where required) is in accordance with specified procedures
• dimensional check of completed weldment against specification requirements and drawings
• In-process welding surveillance during welding to verify compliance with specified procedure including any preheat, interpass temperature control and post heat requirements
• Post weld heat treatment Verification that post weld heat treatment has been conducted in accordance with specification requirements

Performance , interpretation and evaluation of the results for the following Non-Destructive Exams:
 Visual Examination
• VT performance and report writing
• Capable to use all the visual testing tools such as HI-LO gauge , fillet gauge , Camber age universal weld gauge...etc
