Gas plant senior control room opeartor

Period: April 2003 to date. Position: DCS Control room operator – operation foreman. Company: SONATRACH/BHP Billiton Petroleum Ltd.
Location: Ohanet Gas Treatment Plant; Ohanet, Algeria.
Responsible for continuous operation of the whole plant from the central control room, this plant is comprised of : inlet gas facility with two turbo-man turbine driven gas compressors with MARK V controls, CO2 removal unit using amine , two process trains gas dehydration which includes H2S conversion, gas cooling and expansion with Mafi Trench turbo expanders, producing sales gas, fractionation producing LPG and condensate ; recompression & export gas with three GE/ Nuovo Pignone MS5000E - 28 MW turbine driven gas compressors with MARK V controls ,storage unit for LPG and condensate , a full utility unit including diathermia hot oil system for reboilers , fuel gas system , water treatment , air ,nitrogen , methanol injection for hydrates inhibition .
Safety trained for: Permit to Work System, STOP for safety… card, BA and Gas testing equipment.
Very familiar with Honeywell system, FSC including ESD and F&G system.
Member of commissioning and start up team.
Covering the position of operation foreman, preparing permits for maintenance and all necessary procedures to
complete the job in safe condition.

Location: HR south gas plant, Hassi R`mel, Algeria.
Responsible for continuous operation of the whole plant comprised of : Three process trains gas dehydration using Mono-ethylene glycol , gas cooling and expansion on two steps first with JT valve and after using Rotoflow turbo expanders , producing sales gas , fractionation producing LPG and condensate , degassing unit , storage unit for LPG and condensate , two regeneration units of mono-ethylene glycol ,a full utility unit including fuel gas system , water treatment , air ,nitrogen .
Familiar with Yokogawa system.
Member of commissioning and start up team.

INDUSTRY:
o Honeywell process solution training in France for one week, including troubleshooting TDC3000.
o Mafi – Trench turbo expander training, including troubleshooting with final certificate.
o GE power systems oil & gas, Reciprocating compressors operation & maintenance training.
o Metito Overseas Ltd, sewage treatment plant training.
ACADEMIC:
o Algerian petroleum institute, Superior technician degree, 1997, petroleum chemistry and refining department.
o Bachelor of Science, 1994.
