Career Objective
To build upon a year of experience in the oil & gas field as M/LWD Engineer and a five years of education in Electrical engineering to a position in LWD or an entry level position as a directional drilling engineer within a challenging environment.
Professional Experience
M/LWD Engineer, Weatherford International, Inc. from April 2008 till present.
Job Description: Making the tool & torque it, rigging up the Logging sensors
(PT¡¦s, Stroke Counters, Depth Encoder, Hook load), Programming the tools through the surface software (Spectrum Suite). Get the downhole data through a decoded signal which has to be filtered to reduce the noise and get precise data.
The tools are divided into collars each of which provide a specific data which is
„X Directional Sensor (Accelerometer & Magnetometers) which gives the inclination & azimuth angles.
„X Gamma Sensor (Geiger Muller Tube) Measures the Gamma Radiation in the formation.
„X Multifrequency Resistivity Sensor measures the resistivity in the formation.
„X Neutron/ Porosity sensor which emits radiation through the formation and measures the density and porosity through the reflection of these radiations.
„X Hostile Environment Logging which includes the controller where the program saved and the pulser. The controller transmit the data to the pulser and the pulser driver covert it into pulses to be detected by the pressure transducers.
„X RSS (Rotary Steerable Assymbly) which can be run instead of the conventional motor, can build & drop the angle while rotating without the need of slide drilling through a program which can be transfered to it through a machine called the downlink commander by the means of train of pressure pulses.
Eductation
Bachelor degree in Electrical engineering (power and control) from the University of Mutah, Jordan (2007/2008) with an accumulative average of 75.84%.
