A qualified HSE professional with experience of more than 5 Years in the field of Marine, Fire emergency, Explosive & HazMat handling, Oil and Gas Sector, both in government and private organizations. Presently working as a Safety Officer in corporate HSE of B T Engineering Pte Ltd, an oversea company of the Exterran Group.

Earlier worked in Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), Ministry of Home Affair Singapore as an Improvised Explosive Device Disposal Technician, HazMat Specialist, Fire and Rescue Specialist for 4 years in various capacities as emergency responder.

.Responsible for the co-ordination of all aspects of the health, safety and environment management system,
.Develop and implement safe work procedures and practices,
.Worksite inspection, survey and audits to enforce safety compliance. Liaising with Client’s safety officer in the daily safety work in the yard
.Certify and issuance of permit to work for high-risk operations e.g. radiography testing, confine space work, scaffolding, heavy lifting, chemical utilisation etc.
.Implement maintenance regime,
.Organise safety committee and implementing internal safety policies and standards, rules and regulations.
.Conduct internal audit for OHSAS 18001 to ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and Corporate standards,
.Coordination of safety matters within company, from supervisory level and to the general workers,
.Review risk assessment for ongoing and upcoming activities,
.Control of hazardous materials,
.Drawn up emergency preparedness plan and handling procedures and organising and conduct drills and exercises,
