Mechanical Engineer

Fulltime position as a Mechanical Engineer requiring both technical and managerial skills.

EXPERIENCE
Senior Engineer (as Graduated Engineer) October 2006–Present
Archirodon Construction Overseas-Dubai Branch-United Arab of Emirates
Working as a Mechanical Engineer in the dredging division in United Arab of Emirates Ajman head office, and central facility yard for repair, maintenance of Barges, Tug Boats, Cutter Suction Dredgers, Grab Dredgers, Booster Stations, Caterpillar equipments as well as miscellaneous auxiliary equipments.
Duties and responsibilities:
•Planning, scheduling, costing & preparing budgets for miscellaneous mechanical modifications, repairs & dry docking of marine equipments
•Resource assignment ,inventory & documents control
•Preparing & checking shop drawings for fabrication
•Supervising a working team with more than 40-persons including junior engineers & ensuring that works are being carried out within time & budget
•Reporting to project manager

Senior Engineer (as Graduated Engineer) September 2005–October 2006

Working as a Workshop Engineer in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on miscellaneous projects:
Dammam central workshop (under the supervision of the Plant Manager), Yanbu-Rabigh pipeline Project (Ethane and Butane Pipelines 215 Km-90 million $ project - Client Rabigh Refining & Petrochemical Co. “PETRORabigh” c/o Saudi ARAMCO & SUMITOMO)
Duties and responsibilities:
•Managing a working team of 24-persons in a 90 millions $ project
•Implementation of a preventive maintenance procedure , and reducing repair cost
•Responsible for repair(overhauling of Engines, Hydraulic systems, Gearboxes, Transmissions, Torque converters etc) , maintenance & troubleshooting of heavy construction equipments -Bulldozers , Excavators , Wheel loaders, Motor Graders, Generators ,Compressors , Pumps, Cranes, Heavy trucks ,Light vehicles etc
•Inventory control , and approving spare parts orders (Mainly: CATERPILLAR, MERCEDES Trucks, ISUZU, TOYOTA ,PERKINS etc)
•Reporting to project & plant manager
