• Vendors, quality/ performance management: Reviewing and processing of any claims against vendors for unsatisfactory equipment, materials or third party services.
• Reduce inventory cost by controlling surplus.
• Review and issue RFQs, bid openings, commercial evaluations and awards.
• Suppliers/ vendors’ management: negotiating orders and critical issues, ensuring material delivery, and improving procurement practices.
• Supplier's performance evaluations, records and documentations of all responses, purchases, contracts, and related follow-up.
• Oversee site control of equipment and material including goods receipt, storage, issue and surplus management.
• Administer order processing to ensure milestones are met: liaise between End-users and Suppliers to negotiate and ensure timely delivery of items on the critical path.
