PROJECT ENGINEER / CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER (MECHANICAL)

17 Years EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Costing & Construction) experience in various projects of Oil-Refineries, Gathering Centers in KOC, Petro-chemical plants, Chemical plants, Gas plants and cement plants.
The present and past experience includes the Project co-ordination, Engineering, Design, Procurement, Construction, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of various Pumps, Piping, Headers & Flow lines , Fired Heaters, Spheres, Reformers, Heat Exchangers, Vessels, Columns, Mechanical equipments, Ducting and Structures related to oil fields and Petro -Chemical plants.

Preparation of specifications for pipes, valves, and pumps, Design and detail engineering for Headers & Flow lines, Flare stack, Pumps, Heaters and its connected piping as per KOC,KNPC & relevant ASME and API standards.

Preparation of project execution schedules in the form of Bar Chart and follow up & expediting various stages of detail Engg. Procurement, Fabrication & Erection to meet the customer delivery schedule.
Planning, Execution, Monitoring manpower and material control, co-ordination with project / inspection departments of Client and Sub-contractors.

Overall responsible for construction activities and project completion in all aspects with a targeted control budget, Manpower and schedule.

Familiar with all construction codes like ASME Section II-Part- A, Part-C, ASME Section -VIII, Div 1 & 2, ASME Section – IX, ASME / ASME B 31.3, 31.4 & B 16.5, 16.20,16.9,16.47, API 600, API 610, API 620, API 650, API 660 ,API 6D & API 598, API 665, API 673, API RP-521, API RP 11S2, RP11S4 & KOC STANDARDS KOC-P-001,004,005 015-WH-1001,1002,015-LH-1001 , KOC-MP-012,13,14,15,16,18 &19.

Familiar with ISO 15489 & ISO 9001 STDS and KNPC ENGG. STDS SERIES 20,30 & 50.

Technical :
• Degree in Mechanical Engg. Passed with Distinction from Nagarjuna University.
• Diploma in Industrial Safety
• Level II in NDT tests (RT,UT & LP)
• Familiar with all ASME & API Codes.
Software Proficiency :
MS Project
Microsoft Office-Windows XP & Vista (MS-Excel, MS-Word & MS-PowerPoint)
KNPC Internet Utilities.
