Production/Field Operator

Production plant operation,X-Mas tree operation,Well testing,Gas injection&Water injection operation,Online pigging operation. Operation of upstream and down stream equipments such as pumps, compressors, Familiar with SCADA and DCS

•Accountable for carrying out daily monitoring duties as required.
•Check and produce reports on: Generators, air compression, Pumps.
•Parameters to maximize production/Quality-making adjustments where necessary.
•Fully familiar with P&ID, UFD and PFD Engineering Drawing.
•Familiar with ‘Work permit system’,Participating daily and weekly safety training and meeting.
•Complete weekly and monthly reports.
•Performing other duties as required by supervisors.
•Participating in personnel “On the job” training programs.
•Preparation of daily production reports (Gas, Oil and Water) and control room reading.
•Maintain and taking the reading of Pressure, Diff pressure, Temp and Logbook writing.
•Familiar with DCS (Distributed control system) and (SCADA) (supervisory control and data acquisitions).
•Test run for the stand by equipment as per the schedule.
•Isolation and de- isolation of equipment for maintenance.
•Familiar with work permit systems,trouble shooting reports.
•Taking of plant shutdown & Start up operation,Involving the Preventive maintenance of the plant.
•Familiar with the Power turbine parameters, starting from the Panel.
•Chemical injection&rate calculation.
•Operation and handling of produced water flash vessel,Knock out drum.
•Crude transfer pumps, booster pumps, injection pumps, main pumps, Lube oil Pump handling and trouble shooting.
•Different type of Gas compressor (Reciprocating, Centrifugal, Screw type) handling and trouble shooting.
•Strainer,Filter cleaning and changing.
•Glycol pumping, Glycol tank level maintaining, Dew point maintening, Diff pressure reading,PH Value checking.
•Well testing,Well equalizing,Gas lift injection&Water injection wells,Panel board operation ,orifice plate changing,Choke changing.
•Operation and maintenance of Gas injection unit.
•Operation and maintenance of Water injection plant.
•Pig launching and receiving.
•Routine checking of Hazardous gas(H2S,CO) by using gas detectors.
•Experience in the operation of fire extinguishers
•Fire water pump operation.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
