2.) Worked as LAB- TECHNICIAN / LAB- CHEMIST in R&D/ QUALITY ASSURANCE Department of MANALI PETROCHEMICAL LTD.(Formerly known as SPIC Organics ltd, CHENNAI-600068.)

Duration : 15.02.1999 to 18.04.2006

Nature of duties :

Nature of experience includes In-Charge of rotational shifts and analysis of Raw materials like Propylene, Ethylene Oxide, Sorbitol, Glycerine, Ethanolamine, TEA etc,

Intermediates, Finished Products, Stored samples, Drummed samples, Tanker,Tonner samples of PropyleneOxide, PropyleneGlycols and PolyetherPolyols.

Also involved in familiar of Water Analysis like,Raw Water, Cooling Water, DM Water, ChilledWater, Softener, Condensate, BoilerWater, ChilledBrine EffuluentWater etc,

In R&D Department, analyzing special samples, Probably two to four new products are analysed& Developed, and samples received from Effuluent Treatment Plant& Technical services etc,

Job Responsibilities :


ľ Responsible for the operation of highly sophisticated Instruments like GC, HPLC, ICP, AAS, UV-Visible Etc., and communicating the results to other departments in time.

ľ Responsible for monthly reports and chemical consumption.

ľ Calibration and routine maintenance of Instruments/Equipment.

ľ Preparation and standardization of chemical solution &Reagents.


ľ SOP Preparations as per GMP, GLP and WHO, Setting up and commissioning of Laboratory. Aquanted with batch & continuous process.


ľ Suitable Environmental Monitoring and Analysis ability and skills.
