Project Planner in Oil and Gas Projects

I have the experience of drilling rig maintenance, planning of offshore turbine overhauls. I want to learn latest technology changes in the oil and gas field maitenance. Professional satisfaction is the main driving force.

Since May, 2003 till date
Working as Project Coordinator for Overhauling of Gas Turbines both industrial and aeroderivative for offshore oilfield application. The job involves planning of overhauls, co-ordination with OEMs, various users.
July 1998-April 2003
Worked as planner for the requirement of spares for 7 drilling rigs of different makes. The job involved advance planning of the spare parts of various equipments of drilling rigs. Also the job required co-ordination with material management and suppliers.
Availability of spares/consumables for equipments was the main responsibility. Identification of right sources for the material, thus reduction in cost of material.
July 1993-June 1998
Worked as rig mechanic looking after the maintenance of drilling rig equipments of Cardwell mobile rig. The equipment of drilling rig mainly consisted of draw works, gear boxes, mud pumps, diesel engines, rotary tables, generators, centrifugal pumps.
The job involved planning of maintenance activities, execution of maintenance plans without affecting the operation.
The job involved dismantling of equipments after completion of drilling, transportation of equipments, erection and commissioning of equipments at new place.
Planning of spare parts, consumables for carrying out the maintenance activities.
Associated in documentation/implementation of safety awareness among workers which helped in obtaining ISRS safety rating.
June 1987-June 1992
Worked as rig engineer looking after the maintenance of drilling rig equipments for initial two years. The job involved planning of maintenance activities, execution of maintenance plans without affecting the operation.
For the next three years involved in installation and commissioning of Captive Power Plant. The Gas turbine based power plant was successfully commissioned. After commissioning the supervision of Operation & Maintenance of th e plant was looked after for one year.
