Maintenance Planning Assistant

Part of the on shore contractual team of Ipedex Co LLC & ESI Ltd for their contract with OCCIDENTAL PETROLEUM OMAN INC, SAFAH FIELD, OMAN. Plans / Schedules preventive maintenance work orders, daily routine jobs related to maintenance facilities and follow up the scheduled jobs with maintenance in coordination with Operations personnel. Estimates / Plan material and all other resource for turnaround / shutdown jobs. Initiates / Prepares the actual progress report for shutdown.

Planning / scheduling / follow up of plant PM jobs and daily routine jobs related to maintenance facilities, workshop / Rotating section / heavy equipment.

Prepares / issues Weekly Look Ahead and Monthly Look Ahead of PM jobs against each discipline supervisors.

Prepares monthly / annual schedule for maintenance facilities and prepare compliance report.

Checks the requirements of work orders raised by Operations / Maintenance and schedule them as per the resource availability. Coordinates with maintenance engineers
(mechanical /electrical/instrument) for scheduling of their area related jobs, which involve maintenance facilities.

Estimates / plans material and all types of resources for turnaround / shutdown. Follow up with warehouse and ensure the availability of all materials required to execute the turn around / major overhaul. Assists Planning Engineer for the preparation of turnaround schedule and coordinate with concerned maintenance areas and operation personnel for scheduling during shutdown.

Prepares / issues daily progress report for main jobs carried out by assigned area supervisors.

Prepares and review backlog reports and take necessary action to achieve a minimum level of backlog.

Provide daily analysis on the performance of critical equipment to maintain equipment availability by more than 95% as against the world bench mark of equipment availability at 95%.

Bachelor of Arts (History) - 3 years completed
