Total experience is around 24 years. Experienced in inspection Oil & Gas sector / off-shore jackets fabrication/ petrochemical plants/ thermal power plants / LNG plant construction / cross country & off-shore pipelines pipe laying works . Also in fabrication inspection of pressure vessels and heat exchangers . Wider exposure as welding engineer , in both QA & QC ( welding, NDT , Painting ) / Inspection works starting from QC inspector to Dy.QC Manager / department head in the roles of both client and contractor . Experienced in inspection planning and scheduling activities , co-ordination with clients and vendors on QA/QC & inspection issues and document review / approval. In addition works as a consultant ASNT NDT L-III for training and certification of NDT personnel , welding inspectors and as consultant ASNT NDT L-III for pressure vessel fabricating units applying for ASME “U-stamp” certification from ASME .

1. Hands on experience in working as Sr welding inspector /welding engineer in the construction of LNG plants/ on-shore pipeline/off-shore jacket fabrication at yard and off-shore pipe line laying on barges /petrochemical and thermal power plants .
2. Overall project QA/QC co-ordination, interface with multidiscipline engineering team and project QA/QC manpower planning / work scheduling.
3. Inspection of Jacket fabrication / Process platform fabrication for off-shore works Familiar with AWS D1.1 , API RP 2A , DIN standards F101 , etc ; Leading a team of welding , dimensional control and material inspection inspectors.
4. Experienced in pipe laying and NDT works ; experienced in working in off-shore pipe lay barge ( Bin Hai 109 ) .
5. Preparation & Review of QA plans / ITP , QC procedures, method statements, NDT procedures, painting / coating procedures , and work instructions. Handling office correspondances.
6. Experienced as shop floor inspection works ( FAT / SAT ) and vendor development
7. Inspection ( NDT , Welding , painting , Mechanical and pre-commissioning ) works in construction of petrochemical / oil field/cross country pipe lines as per ANSI B31.3/31.8/31.4/API 1104
8. Thoroughly exposed to SMAW/SAW/GTAW/GS-FCAW/SS-FCAW/MIG welding processes and its applications.Preparation of WPS (CS. LTCS , SS & DSS ) and conducting PQR /WQT, offering consultancy on welding ( ASME SEC IX / API 1104/AWS D1.1)
