Receipt of all materials from local or overseas suppliers as per given specifications on the Purchase Orders. Responsible to carry out MATERIAL check and get quality inspection of materials done through end users and prepare Material Receipt Voucher (MRV) from computerized MAXIMO system. Report to Procurement Department for all cases of Shortage/Excess/damage by means of preparing material Discrepancy Report (MDR).
Receiving of Hazardous Chemicals, Catalyst and Oils along with MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) and store as per instruction on MSDS. Preparing outgoing Bill of Lading for Rejected Materials.
Issuing of materials against (DTR) Desk top requisition of End Users of Plants, by following FIFO/LIFO method.
Implement proper storage & preservation plan of various materials keeping in view the basic nature of materials like Chemicals, Lubricants, Gas cylinders and Electronic Materials and Inflammable materials.
Prepares Reports by Week End, like Material Consumption Report, Ageing analysis of Inventories, Non/Slow Moving Items, Obsolescent Items and Shelf life expired materials list.
Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Policy while handling and storage of materials
Create materials data base for all new materials coming to Warehouse.
Maintain Min-Max levels of all materials taking into consideration of ABC analysis. Maintain fine balance between stock out and over stocking. Economic Ordering Quantities and optimization of Inventory Carrying costs keeping in view the buffer stocks etc.
Take steps for proper disposal of Scrap Materials and shelf life expired materials by following all necessary Internal Audit Procedures' Undertake periodical and Cycle count of inventory as per schedule.
Preparation of MAXIMO Monthly Stock Report with coordination of Finance Department
